Both of these, unfortunately, primarily preached to the choir:

• Fall 2004 Quarter: Inter-religious dialogues: event list PDF - Note: During the Common Ground discussion, I thought there was a breakthrough when one of the Muslim members of Common Ground told a Muslim student that the anti-Semitism was unacceptable. I was wrong - Amir Abdel Malik Ali showed up a few months later with the same vitriol.
  
• 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 School Years: Difficult
  Dialogues: event list - these events unfortunately included: former President Carter's speech in May 2007, and a blatant attack on Israel and Zionism by Sheik Sadullah Kahn in November 2006

• February 2007 letter written to the US Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights regarding the January 2007 disruption and anti-Semitic speech at the Daniel Pipes speech

This long-held but completely uncodified policy was enforced until October 19, 2007, when UCI announced it would no longer enforce requests for speeches to not be recorded.
